Veterans Benefits - Are You Getting Everything You Deserve

Veterans have made sacrifices that most civilians cannot fathom enduring. As a result, many Veterans return from service with physical and emotional scars that affect their daily lives.

Certain government benefits are available to support veterans' health and well-being. However, understanding what exactly is available and if you qualify can be daunting. That's why we are holding this informational session for local Veterans.

Pines Village Retirement Communities and the Porter County Veterans Service Office will offer the public two free sessions of "Veterans Benefits- Are You Getting Everything You Deserve." Topics of this program will include VA Health Benefits, VA Disability Compensation, VA Pensions, and benefits that extend to spouses. The program's presenter is Paulina Huffman, Assistant Veteran Service Officer for Porter County.

The first session will occur on Thursday, April 20, at 9:30 am at Pines Village Retirement Community after the monthly meeting of the Rise & Shine Veterans Breakfast. The second session will take place at the Meridian Woods Community Center, formerly Campbell St. Cafe, on Thursday, May 18, at 3:30 pm.

This is your opportunity to get information from the source and ask any questions you may have related to Veteran benefits.  If you want to attend, please RSVP below or call our main office at 219-465-1591.
