Regional Fine Art Exhibitions
The Village Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery at Pines Village Retirement Communities offering artistic experiences to the community to enhance its appreciation and understanding of various art forms and to give support and recognition to artists. Original artwork from artists around Chicagoland and beyond are on display every six weeks. Art exhibitions are open to the public free of charge and include a “Meet the Artist” reception to kick off new exhibits. There are no charges for the artist to exhibit, they are also able to sell their works commission free.

The Village Gallery offers educational opportunities to local schools for student field trips to view the rotating art exhibitions and our permanent art collections that showcase some of the region’s legacy artists including Vin and Hazel Hannell, Harriett Rex Smith, Margaret Burroughs, and more.
