The Office of Senator Joe Donnelly, along with the staff of Pines Village Retirement Communities invite you to preserve our military history for future generations of Americans by participating in the Veterans History Project on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
The Veterans History Project was created in the year 2000 to collect, preserve and make available the personal stories of American veterans. These oral histories are kept in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, one of the world's most respected research and cultural institutions. Scholars, students, authors, filmmakers and history buffs can access the collection to hear individual accounts of soldier's service. These personal accounts allow us to hear directly from those who protected our freedoms and help us better understand the realities of military service.
RSVP Requested - Please provide your name, address, telephone number and email to Ryan Wiegand, and indicate if you want to record your story, or if you want to Volunteer to interview a veteran. To RSVP, please email Ryan at Senator Donnelly's office or call him at 317/226-5555. He will schedule you and confirm your attendance.
