Pines Village Announces Scholarship Recipients

 Pines Village Retirement Communities, Inc., announces the 2018-2019 recipients of the Margaret M. Rivers and Anne Lauterbach scholarship awards.  The scholarship program was created to foster employee longevity and encourage employees to pursue their higher education goals. Through the generosity of our residents, their families, the Board of Directors and staff, over $230,000 in scholarships have been awarded to undergraduate and graduate student employees of Pines Village since 1996.

Over $26,000 was awarded to the following fourteen (14) undergraduate student employees:

Emma Adams, employed in Dining Services for 1 year, will attend Ball State University, majoring in Criminology. Her parents are Jennifer & Joel Adams.

Danielle Angert, employed in Dining Services for 3 years, attends Purdue University majoring in Engineering. Her parents are Ginny & Don Angert.

Rachel Clark, employed in Home Health Services for 3 years, attends Ball State University majoring in Nursing. Her parents are Chrissy & Scott Clark.

Molly Gravier, employed in Dining Services for 4 years, attends Indiana University majoring in Law and Public Policy. Her parents are Lynda & Michael Gravier.

Mary Johnson, employed in Dining Services for 1 year will attend Ball State University majoring in Education. Her parents are Carla & Jack Johnson

Mohammed Khatib, employed in Dining Services for 3 years, attends Indiana University majoring in Environmental Management. His parents are Yusra & Kareem Khatib.

Lianna Leslie, employed in Dining Services for 7 years, attends Purdue Northwest majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education. Her mother is Deborah Tatum.

Rachelle Manns, employed in Home Health Services attends Indiana University Northwest majoring in Social Work. Her parents are Jennifer & Carson Clemans.

Emily McGuire, employed in Dining Services for 4 years, attends Ball State University majoring in History and Women’s Studies. Her parents are Amy & Rob McGuire.

Maggie Meyer, employed in Dining Services for 5 years, attends Valparaiso University majoring in Finance. Her parents are Janet & Mark Meyer.

Sarah Moats, employed in Dining Services for 4 years, attends Indiana University majoring in Speech & Hearing Sciences. Her parents are Nancy & Andrew Moats.

Allison Skadberg, employed in Dining Services for 3 years attends Purdue University majoring in Pharmacy. Her parents are Ann & Robert Skadberg.

Mathew John Supergan, employed in Dining Services for 4 years attends Ball State University majoring in Computer Information Systems. His parents are Michelle & John Supergan.

Alissa Van Zuidam, employed in Dining Services for 2 years, will be attending Purdue University Northwest majoring in Elementary Education. Her parents are Karyn & Mark Van Zuidam.
