Pines Village Retirement Communities has established a state licensed private duty home health care agency. Home health care services are available for the residents of Pines Village and Meridian Woods.
Pines Village Apartments
You may purchase the following services on a scheduled basis.
- Medication set-up and reminders
- Visit by nurse for health care monitoring
- Home health aide assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Nursing services for injectable medications, blood sugar monitoring, foot care, etc.
- When a resident needs individual attention and companionship, caregiver services are available. These services may be arranged from two to eight hours per day (subject to change depending on staff availability).
Pines Village Assisted Living
When a resident of Pines Village Assisted Living chooses our home health care agency to provide nursing and personal care, they receive the following basic package of services which is included in the monthly service fee.
- Case management by a registered nurse that may include: assessments, treatments, coordination of services, communication with family and physician, medication management and monthly care conferences
- Medication set-ups, reminders, and re-orders through the pharmacy of your choice
- Appointment scheduling with resident's physician and other health care professionals
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Escort to activities and dining areas
- Pullcord system: if a resident needs attention from the home care staff, he or she can pull the cord which alerts staff that the resident needs assistance
- Laboratory testing on site: our staff can register a resident for lab tests to be completed in the resident's apartment by Porter hospital
Meridian Woods Homes
You may purchase the following services on a scheduled basis.
